Cookie Policy

Summary of our Cookie Policy

In compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Spanish Law on Information Society Services (LSSI), we inform you that this website uses first-party and third-party cookies subject to your consent, except for those strictly necessary for the basic operation and security of the service.

You can manage your cookie preferences at any time through our cookie settings panel or via your browser settings.

1. What are cookies?

A cookie is a small text file stored in your browser when you visit almost any website. Its purpose is to allow the website to remember your visit when you return. Cookies typically store technical information, personal preferences, content personalisation, usage statistics, links to social networks, access to user accounts, and similar data.

Alongside traditional HTTP cookies, this site also uses browser localStorage with the same technical purpose of remembering your decision about cookies between visits.

2. Types of cookies by managing entity

First-party cookies

These are sent to your device from our own equipment or domains. On this site they are limited to the technical storage that remembers your decision about cookies (gbp-cookie-consent in localStorage).

Third-party cookies

These are sent to your device from a domain managed by another entity. In our case they are: Google (Analytics 4, Ads and Maps), all subject to your consent, and Cloudflare (CDN and bot mitigation), based on legitimate interest.

3. Types of cookies by purpose

Strictly necessary cookies

Enable basic site operation, remember your cookie consent and mitigate bot abuse. They do not require consent (GDPR art. 6.1.f, legitimate interest).

Analytics cookies

Collect aggregated information about how you use the site (pages visited, time on page, events such as phone or WhatsApp clicks). Loaded only after your explicit consent.

Marketing / advertising cookies

Used to attribute conversions from advertising campaigns and to load the interactive Google Maps on the contact page. Loaded only after your explicit consent.

Preference cookies

Would remember personalisation settings (language, layout, etc.) if any existed. This site does not currently use third-party preference cookies; language switching is handled via URL.

4. Analytics and tracking tools

This website applies a consent gating mechanism: the tools below are not downloaded and do not send data to third parties before you have accepted cookies in the corresponding category. If you reject, they are not loaded and do not set cookies.

Google Analytics 4 (GA4)

Aggregated usage metrics. Loaded only if you accept the Analytics category. The IP address is anonymised before transmission. The cookies _gid and _gat_gtag_UA_* are no longer used (they belonged to Universal Analytics, retired in July 2024).

Data collected:

  • Anonymised IP address
  • Pages visited and time on each
  • Device type and browser
  • Custom events (phone or WhatsApp clicks)

Google Ads — conversion attribution

Activated only if you accept the Marketing category and reuses the GA4 script already loaded. Allows phone or WhatsApp clicks to be attributed to active advertising campaigns. The cookies _gcl_au and _gcl_aw are generated only when an advertising campaign is active.

Google Maps (contact page)

The clinic's interactive map is loaded only if you accept the Marketing category. Until then, the contact page shows a placeholder that requires an explicit click. Once accepted, Google Maps may set its own cookies for display preferences and fraud prevention.

Cloudflare (CDN and security)

Service required to deliver the site and mitigate bot abuse. Does not require consent as it is covered by legitimate interest (GDPR art. 6.1.f). It sets the __cf_bm cookie with a short duration exclusively for bot detection.

The table below reflects the cookies that may be installed depending on your consent. If you reject a category, the cookies in that row are not generated.

International transfer: Google and Cloudflare may process data in the United States under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.

In accordance with data protection legislation, you have the right to:

  • Access your personal data
  • Request rectification of inaccurate data
  • Request erasure of your data
  • Restrict the processing of your data
  • Object to the processing of your data
  • Request data portability
  • Withdraw consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing
  • Lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority (Spanish Data Protection Agency, AEPD)

To exercise these rights, you may contact us by email at .

7. Acceptance and configuration of cookies

On your first visit you will see a banner where you can accept all, reject all or manage cookies with per-category granularity (necessary, analytics, preferences, marketing). Accept and reject options require the same number of clicks and have equivalent visual weight, in line with the AEPD's Cookie Guide.

You can change your cookie preferences at any time by returning to this page or via your web browser settings:

Note: rejecting marketing cookies prevents the interactive map from loading on the contact page; instead you will see a clickable placeholder.

8. Changes to the cookie policy

We reserve the right to amend this Cookie Policy at any time. Any changes will be published on this page. We recommend that you review this page periodically to stay informed about how we use cookies.
